Best game I have played in: It was for England U18s versus France
U18s in the European Championships in Belgium, despite there being about
only two people watching.
The England girls had been
together for only about a week and were not really used to how each other
played. But we started the tournament well, beating Belgium 2-1.
We then played France who for
the first 20 minutes were absolutely amazing and we thought then that we
would get beaten heavily, and even more so after they had taken the lead.
But we got back into the game -
our team spirit was as impressive as France's skill - and managed to draw
1-1. Sadly it wasn't enough to qualify for the next stage of the
competition.
Worst injury I have suffered: Luckily I have missed only a couple of
weeks at a time through injury.
Biggest crowd to see me play: I played in front of 60,000 fans for
England against France. It was a game played in Marseilles before the French
men's team played a Fifa All Stars team not long after they had won Euro
2000.
Favourite goal I have scored: It has to be my most recent one that I
chipped in from the edge of the box against Holland in the World Cup 2007
Qualifier at Charlton's Valley Parade.
Worst moment for me in football: Being left out of the England squad
for a World Cup qualifying match against Germany at home, especially as I
had played in the away match.
Person I have most enjoyed
meeting: David Beckham. For me he has grown so much as a player and as a
person after all the bad publicity he has had. Everyone hated him but he has
now made everyone love him.
Favourite formation: 4-3-3, which we play at Arsenal. I play up
front alongside another striker and another forward would sit just behind
us.
Funniest moment as a player: It happened during a match for Arsenal
away at Doncaster. Before the game it had snowed heavily and we were given a
white ball to play with. When I did manage to see the ball I kept running
off the pitch because I could not see the pitch markings.
Most treasured possession: A photo of me with Ian Wright when we were
both at Arsenal. Also a pair of boots once belonging to former Arsenal
striker Nicolas Anelka. Before one game for Arsenal, the men's kit manager
who is also our manager, gave me a pair of Anelka's boots to wear because
mine were damaged. In fact I wore them for a couple of matches after that,
even though they were a bit big.
Hobbies: I love coaching kids. I have my own football school now
where I coach kids aged 8 to 16 years. A few years back, during my previous
spell at The Arsenal, I spent a summer coaching 6-17 year olds in New York
for Major League Soccer.
Otherwise I also love shopping for clothes and listening to R&B music.
